Quick Start Guide to updating the UM Dual or UM Nexus Pro utility locating systems

UM Update is a PC application used to update Underground Magnetics Utility Locating Receivers and Transmitters.

Installing UM Update:

• Use this link to install: UM Update
• UM Update will check for updates each time it starts up
  • This will keep all software and settings current

UM Update will automatically connect to a receiver or transmitter connect via USB

Updating software on a receiver or transmitter:

1. Open UM Setup and connect the receiver
2. Click the ‘Update Software’ button
3. The receiver will restart when the update is complete
